PROFILE
Dr. Nayanaben G. Prajapati is an Associate Professor in Home Science Department with inter-disciplinary expertise spanning Food & Nutrition, Clothing and Textile, Home science Education and Extension, Family Resource Management. She has completed her M.A. and Ph.D. from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.
She has 31 years of teaching experience. She has 1 year of research experience for Dissertation and 6.5 years research experience for Ph.D. She is member of adhoc board of studies in home science in Gujarat University and in member of Board of Studies in Home science in Shri Govind Guru University, Godhara.
RESEARCH INTEREST
- She has done Dissertation on “Study of use of Dehydrated Vegetable and Fruit in various recipes” during her MA in March 1994 from Gujarat University.
- Her research focus on “Education and Nutritional Impact of Mid-Day-Meal Programme on Children of primary school of Ahmedabad District” and awarded Ph.D. in April 2018 from Gujarat University.
