The VIC MAC Bullet-Proof Modi Jacket is designed for discreet personal protection while retaining the appearance and comfort of a conventional Nehru / Modi-style jacket. Removable ballistic inserts allow the garment to be configured according to the required protection level. The jacket is intended for VIP, government and close-protection applications where low visual profile, seated comfort and freedom of movement are important.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Bullet-Proof Jacket system comprises an outer carrier, two removable Soft Armour Panels (SAPs) and two removable Hard Armour Plates (HAPs). The SAPs provide NIJ Level IIIA protection to the front and back torso, neck, collar, shoulders and groin, while the composite HAPs provide Level III rifle protection in conjunction with the SAPs against the specified 7.62 x 51 mm NATO FMJ, 7.62 x 39 mm and 5.56 x 45 mm steel-tip threats. The system is designed for upper-torso coverage, body-contoured fit, freedom of movement and improved load distribution around the waist.
