Arts and H. &#038; P. Thakore Commerce College for Women is a prominent reputed college for women run by Gujarat Stree Kelavani Mandal. It was founded in 1920 with the blessings of Mahatma Gandhiji.<br><br>\n\nAt present this college is a two faculty UG &#038; PG College affiliated to the Gujarat University catering to girls from diverse backgrounds. The college offers BA and B.Com degrees and added courses in a variety of subjects of Arts, Home Science and Commerce stream with an intake of 1700 students every year. The college retains a rich tradition of nurturing the growth and development of the girls by providing the right kind of environment and training to prepare them for the contemporary world.<br><br>\n\nOver and above the teaching work through expert and experienced faculty, the college also gives importance to cultural activities, sports, N.C.C. and N.S.S.
